For some reason i can't seem to play the WotG music nor the ToAU music either... could anyone help me out?

Its coded diferently and unless someone knows how to reprogram AV theres no way to fix it.

Hey guys, I figured out which weapons go with which corresponding weapon skills in case anyone's interested. A lot of them look super-generic, so I don't know exactly. The ones with an asterisk(*) beside them are generic one-handed weapons, either axes or daggers. The ones with two asterisks(**) beside them are generic staves, though these ones are a little easier to identify.

WS 1 = Blue Mage (Sword) *
WS 2 = Puppetmaster (HTH)
WS 3 = Thief (Dagger) *
WS 4 = White Mage (Club)
WS 5 = Beastmaster (Axe) *
WS 1 = Red Mage (Sword)
WS 2 = Paladin (Sword)
WS 3 = Monk (HTH)
WS 4 = Bard (Dagger) *
WS 5 = Dancer (Dagger) *
WS 6 = Dark Knight (Scythe)
WS 7 = Warrior (Great Axe)
WS 8 = Dragoon (Polearm)
WS 9 = Scholar (Staff) **
WS 10 = Summoner (Staff) **
WS 11 = Black Mage (Staff) **
WS 12 = Ninja (Katana)
WS 13 = Samurai (Great Katana)
WS 14 = Ranger (Crossbow)

Er remove the asterisk beside "WS 5 = Dancer (Dagger)"... that one I got as true. It's quite obvious, actually.

WoTG music problem


Yeah unfortunately ToAU and WoTG music tracks are ATRAC encoded and AV can't play them.

I'd also like to point out that both of the Hand-to-Hand weapons could be mixed around too. They're the same weapon type, so I'm not sure. It's very possible that Puppetmaster got the five/six-hit weapon skill and Monk only got the one-hit one. Not sure. Same with the two marksmanship ones. Not 100% sure.

Okay. Confirmed the PUP Hand-to-Hand and MNK Hand-to-Hand to be true in my suggestion. I just took a gander at the Wings of the Goddess trailer and noticed the Puppetmaster using the single-hit weapon skill.

So now, the only ones I don't know are WS1-1, WS1-3, WS1-5, and WS2-4.

You could always request someone to send you ever single .DAT in the files. That's about it, though.

Take another look at the video. While you are seeing PUP only doing one hit on the Quadav, look at the animation. The animation you are proposing for PUP's Relic WS has dark smoke around the fist before the impact, and then the ground breaks beneath the enemy a moment later. However, the one in the animation is golden, followed by a shining explosion.

So the WS PUP is doing in the video is just the tail end of the Six-Hit WS, much like how you only see the final strike of both the PLD and RDM WSs.

I dunno who made that video, but that'd be my guess as to which WSs are which.

I downloaded this version, but I can't see most of the new armor (dnc, sch AF ect, but those AF are visible on humes) and most NPCs. How can I fix this problem, or is this normal?

Mortama, I wanted to commend you on your continued work to keep both programs as up to date as possible. I would also like to ask you a question as I noticed something during some animation swaps I did for mithra a while back. Are you aware that /dance1-4 emotes are contained in a seperate dat from the dancer JA animations? If so have you been able to locate where these dats are, or have they been hard to identify?

I only ask as I have been trying to find them myself through tedious means but have not been able to find them. If at all possible could you please try to locate them for me?

For some reason I am unable to copy/save images. It will copy/save them, but they are the a different tab than the PC tab. Does anyoneknow how to fix this?

Why doesn't AV play some of the sounds of the effects like the Mythic weaponskills or some of the DNC/SCH moves etc. Just curious hopefully there's a solution.

Theres something different with the new WS's not sure what but i believe the weapon skill and sound are separate and thats why lol.

and everything else has a new coding from that of zilart and cop.

There's one thing I still can't figure out: is there any way to view avatar 2hr animations? I've tried selecting the avatar in the NPC section, then going to the Effects section and selecting the corresponding 2hr animation, but the avatar won't do the actual motions. Is there any way to do this?

I've been trying to track down some of the scholar npcs such as Erlene, just wanted to know which .dat it was to swap it w/ my moogle. Cant find it in AV or listed online. Any ideas? ^^;

If erlene has a normal PC head. then she isnt an npc. Just a character made up of usual parts.

Is it possible to "upload" everyone else's custom .dats into AV? I want to see how my character would look like with glowey staves xD But don't want to mess with background scenes.
